Obituary of Harold A. Farrington

Farrington, Harold A. 81, of St. Petersburg passed away on June 22nd at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army, served in the Merchant Marines was one of the proud few surviving WWII veterans. He was an accomplished pilot, sailor and fisherman. As a Master Electrician, his expertise was vastly recognized in his industry. He was preceded in death by his son Bruce; brothers Raymond, Walter and Harry. He is survived by wife Joan; sons Keith (Kim) Farrington, Michael (Shawna) Farrington, Gary (Lois) Farrington, Carl (Marge) Farrington, Greg (Kathy) Coolidge, Rick Coolidge and Jeff Coolidge; daughters Kathy (Buddy) Lyons and Karen Knight; brother Gene Hyatt; sisters Vee Cox, Juanita Eddy and Eden Locke; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday July 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 at the family home: 7226 55th Ave N St. Petersburg, FL 33709.
