Obituary of Henrietta B. Cox

97, of Tampa, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. Born in Brunswick, Georgia, she came here from Myrtle Beach, SC. She graduated from Stetson University. She attended Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. She was an avid tennis player and played competitively until she was 91 both singles and doubles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Cox Jr.; her sisters, Mrs. James E. McIlwain "DeeDee", and Sarah Lillian Lomax; and her brother Dr. Henry H. Bryant III. She is survived by her sister, Judy B. Williams, and many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. There will be a Memorial Service at 3pm this Sunday at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church in Fl. Donations may be made in her name to North Strand Helping Hand of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Trinity United Methodist Church of North Myrtle Beach, or to a charity of your choice.
