Debbie, I wish I could have been there for you during this difficult time. I want you to know that your mom will remain in my heart and childhood memories forever. I wish I could have said "good-bye", but I guess it really would have been "see you later". She is resting peacefully now. Take care of yourself and your family and all the Whitmill girls!! Vicki

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the news of the passing of my Aunt Annie. I had the pleasure of spending time with her in 1992 in Ireland prior to emigrating to Australia. I found her to be a fantastic individual and an inspiration to us all.
To my cousins and extended family circle in the USA we send our sincerest sympathies.

Annie? Granny? For me, it was never really either. But right from the first time I met her over 25 years ago, it was obvious to me that she had so many names to all who loved her:
Loving Mom...Devoted wife...Caring friend...Trustworthy co-worker...Doting Grandmother.
For me she was and always will be my second mom, welcoming arms to a young man nervous about meeting her for the first time ,a word of encouragement when things were tough, a hug when it didn't matter what else was going on, and forgiveness when I failed. She was one of a kind and one of those few people each of us has in our lives that will live on within us until its our time to pass on and join her.
God bless you, mom. Rest in peace and always take pride in all of the lives that your love and generosity have touched. You've left a big hole here on earth to fill, but we are all a little better for having had you in our lives.
Until we meet again, when I'm sure you'll give me that same comforting welcome at those pearly gates above as you did for me all those years ago, I will always love and miss you.

I wish you my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. I know your mother will be missed. Having a mother who has been close to you as a mother and friend is a wonderful gift. I to have been blessed with a great mother and know the void that would be in my life when I lose her. Remeber the good times and the times you shared together. Do not think about her being sick. Think of the laughter and love she gave you. If you need anything just call. Love Alice Keenaghan

I am Annie's Niece and have fond memories of her and her irish accent & smile. One thing I remember when I was little, she told a silly little song I still say today. "A burp is but a gale of wind extending from the heart but when it goes the other way it's generally called a f..t"! Too Funny ! But that is how I'll remember her Happy, Smiling and a quick wit !! Thank you for letting me share something about her !! GOD BLESS & SHE IS AT PEACE !!

Mom, You are deeply loved and our loss is a great one. You will always be remembered in our hearts. For our Irish mom, an Irish blessing
Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too briefâ??
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
