Obituary of Amber Elizabeth McGuire

On January 22, 2013 Amber McGuire passed away. Amber was born August 18, 1985 in Tampa, Fl. She attended Jefferson High School where she graduated in 2003. She leaves behind her beloved family who mourn the loss of this beautiful mother, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend. Her mothers Denise Lowe, Jan Lowe, her Parents James and Kathy McGuire, her brothers Sean McGuire and sister-in-law Sarah McGuire, Nick McGure, Noah Diaz, and Ben McGuire, her grandparents Genive and Fred Alter, and Jerry and Janet McGuire, her aunts and uncles Misty and Ken Graham , Scott and Twill Wimmer, Dania and Paris Davis, Deb and Don McGuire, and Barbara Yarosh, Cliff Yarosh, many beloved cousins, and her two beloved children, Jaylen McGuire and, Jeremiah Wimbley; both of whom were the love of her life. She was a long time employee of the Midtown Sweet Bay grocery store, and most recently had been employed by AmeriLife as an Accounting Clerk. Amber touched many lives and was a friend and confidant to others who shared the same struggles of being a single mom. She had just begun her college career with St. Pete College, at Gibbs Campus, in 2012, to realize her ultimate goal of becoming a social worker to help other women. Amber struggled for many years to provide for her children and give them a great education and help them to become upstanding men. Her legacy is the well mannered, intelligent, and sweet children she leaves behind. Amber will live on through her children and those of us who loved her. While the hole in our hearts is cavernous, with time it will begin to heal. Though her family will never be the same, we are grateful to have had this beautiful light shine in our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to care for her children.
