Obituary of Joyce Anne L'Hommedieu

L'Hommedieu, Joyce Anne 72, of Saint Petersburg, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at home with her family. Born in Glen Cove, New York, she moved to Florida in 1955. She graduated from Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg and then earned her Bachelors of Science degree. Joyce was an avid lover of animals of all kinds. She contributed to many animal foundations throughout the country. She was very dedicated to her job at Bayfront Medical Center for over 50 years. While Joyce did not wish to have a formal service, she would have appreciated you celebrating her life through charity and kindness to her favorite cause. In lieu of flowers and gifts, please consider a donation to the animal charity of your choice. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick J. and Anne F. L'Hommedieu. She is survived by two brothers Frederick and George L'Hommedieu.
