Obituary of MYRTLE LEE BOSSERT-NASSER

Nasser, Myrtle Lee Bossert, 91, passed away peacefully, December 7th, 2012. Born in Kulpsville, PA to John and Emma Dettra, Lee moved to St. Pete Beach, FL in 1950, with her husband and three boys. As an army nurse, she served as a member of the 57th Field Hospital in the European Theater as a First Lieutenant during WWII. Lee continued her work as a nurse throughout her career and owned and operated Medical Education Center, teaching students preparing for employment in the medical field. She enjoyed traveling, golf, ballroom dancing, cards, boating, and was an avid reader. She was a member of Pass-a-grille Community Church for many years and a member of Good Samaritan Church since 2004. She belonged to the American Business Women's Association where she was chosen as Woman of the Year, and served as President of the Mainlands Unit 6 Social Club where she taught a Bible study for 6 years. Lee was predeceased by her husband, Stanley B. Bossert, her son Jeffery Alan Bossert, her husband Joseph Nasser, and her sister Ruth Hamerle. She is survived by her sons, Stanley D. Bossert (Jane), Robert M. Bossert (Kathy), a brother Jack Dettra of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 14th at 11:00 AM at Good Samaritan Church of Pinellas Park, 6085 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, FL 33787.
