Obituary of Harold Thomas DeLorey

DELOREY, HAROLD THOMAS, Jr., 74, died peacefully Sept. 20th, 2012. He is survived by six sons Thomas, Timothy, Daniel, Christopher, Douglas, Matthew, a daughter Mary, two step daughters Laura and Kim, 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Harold was preceded in death by his first wife Suzanne of 42 years and survived by his second wife Susan of 10 years. He was a man of deep faith and integrity and was very involved in his parish. This included being president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society for which he received the St. Jude's Award. His community service included coaching sports, Boy Scouts, and helping his six sons to become Eagle Scouts. He loved travel, the outdoors and taking his grandchildren kayaking. Harold truly left the world a better place than he found it and was loved deeply. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1:00 PM at Holy Family Church.
