Obituary of James K. Knight

64, of Largo, FL, died September 11, 2012 at Largo Medical Ctr. from complications of pneumonia. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, as the son of J. Homer Knight (dec.) and Jeanne Murray. He was a lifelong biker (nickname-Turk) who loved the open road. He was also an avid blues lover who went to the Rockland Blues Festival for 14 years as a family tradition. But, most of all, he was a family man who gave his all to his wife and children. He will be forever missed. James leaves behind his devoted wife of 36 years, Dawn; loving children, Nicole Knight, Aaron Knight, and Kendra Murray; brothers, John (Debbie) Murray and their daughter, Jill, and Chris Murray; sister in law Cherille Johnson; brother-in-law, Gary Gates; nieces Caitlyn Johnson, and Jessica Murray, daughter of deceased brother, Jerry Murray. A private service will take place at his final resting place, Sarasota National Cemetery.
