Obituary of Kenneth L. Moyer

On September 2nd, 2012, Kennth L. Moyer Jr. passed away in his home in Seminole, Fl. Ken was born February 5th, 1929 in La Port, Indiana of Kennth L. Moyer Sr. and Harriet M. Kerr. He is an incredible blessing to a family of many that love and admire his leadership. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, with 6 children, 2 step children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 25yrs and Retired as Sr. Master Sergeant with a tour in the Korean War. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Egypt Temple Shrine. Ken was a very accomplished world traveler and was fluent in many languages. Ken's trade was in Engineering were he worked at Channel 10 WLCY and 3 WEDU in the Tampa Bay Area and then Retired at Channel 6 in Miami. After retirement, Ken moved back to his home in Seminole, Fl were he enjoyed his life with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and friends. He had an amazing way of giving everyone in such a large family special attention and making sure he made time for the important moments with family and friends. Ken had many talents and hobbies which included: Ham Radio, installing huge communications antennas, Music, Jitterbug Dancing, Family Picnics, also put together Family Reunions, Fishing, and Boating. He was incredible with technical equipment and could repair anything and was diligent until projects were completed. He was blessed with an tremendous work ethic. His wishes are for his family to be at peace with one another. He was Our Rock and Will Be More than Missed by All of US.
