Obituary of Robert Waters Dorsey

Dorsey, Robert Waters 77, of St. Petersburg, died Monday, August 6, 2012, at Bon Secours Maria Manor. Born on December 19, 1934 in Washington, DC, he came here in 1996 from Rockville, MD. He was active in the farming community and in Real Estate with Coldwell-Banker in the DC area. He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Elizabeth Dorsey and William Bradley Dorsey and brother-in-law, James N. Madden. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann; sons, Vincent (Deborah) of Cumming, GA, and Michael (Victoria) of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Dawn, Leslye, Matthew and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Brett, Olivia, Gus Allen and Marley; siblings, Mary, Larry (Joann), Eddy (Nancy), Mack, Jean and JoAnn; brother-in-laws, Thomas (Janet) and Charles Austin. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 520 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20852 with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
