Obituary of Vernon LeRoy Crabb

Vernon LeRoy Crabb passed away at home on June 12, 2012. He previously lived extensively in Illinois and California before settling for the past 20 years in Pinellas Park, Fl. He was born on Feb. 2, 1941 in Rosiclare, IL and was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Vernon Crabb, and mother Ethel (Curtis) Crabb. He will be greatly missed by survivors sisters Margie Burton of Norris City, IL, Anna Manley of Zion, IL, stepson Nemo Szpakowski and God Daughter Rima Cornish of Sacramento, CA. , 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He will also be missed by his long time fishing buddy Robert M. Belford and childhood friend, William Kline and many others. Vernon belonged to the National, Florida, and Illinois Bass Associations for the Deaf as well as the White County Bass Club in IL. He was happiest with a rod and reel in his hands. The family would like to express their gratitude to both the Kline and Belford families for their tremendous help. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Crystal Lake Mobile Home Park, 9301 49th St. N., Pinellas Park, Fl. Please omit flowers.
