Obituary of Patrick J. Benedetto

Benedetto, Patrick J. 97, passed away on Saturday after a brief illness. Born in Swampscott, MA, Patrick spent most of his adult life living in Cambridge and Watertown, MA. He was a welder by trade, but later in life he owned his own scrap metal business in Watertown. In 1996, Patrick moved to St. Pete, FL, where he lived with his son and daughter-in-law until his death. He is predeceased by his wife, Katherine Dillon Benedetto, two sisters, Ida LaCamera and Gilda Benedetto, and son-in-law Francis Kennedy. Patrick is survived by his son, Richard and daughter-in-law Anne, his daughter Catherine Kennedy from California, two granddaughters, Abigail Benedetto also from California and Lauren Benedetto from Connecticut, his brother-in-law Thomas P. Dillon and his sister-in-law Helen Dillon, both from Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
