Obituary of Doug A. Demarest

Douglas A. Demarest 12-15-60 to 10-2-11 Doug was a great man, a wonderful husband, brother and son, and an awesome father. He was a very well known man, gracious, and giving. Many people knew him and never had anything bad to say. Doug was always there to help people and never hesitated to extend a helping hand. My dad was a very positive man and he always said, "Never give up! There's always a way!", and guess what? Sure enough, he was always right. Everything always worked out, just like he said it would. He was a firm believer in practicing what he preached. Doug had many great qualities, but the one that stood out the most was the pride he poured into everything he did. He put all his whole heart into it and it showed as bright as day at work, home, and with his family and friends. Doug has shown and taught us all so much during his entire life, and i think it's wonderful that we can honor him by taking what we've learned and carrying it into the future. Rest in peace Dad, Husband, Brother, Son & Friend. You will be missed in so many ways. We love you dearly.
