My condolences to the Vaughn Family,
During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assure that our Grand Creator cares about you personally (1 Peter 5:7) and can help you through this difficult time.
Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. May your happy memories and sure scriptural hope comfort your hearts during this painful time.

Gideon was a true Gemini-vibrant, funny, witty, and not afraid to speak his mind. He was also a true southern gentleman. He looked as great in a tux as he did in his tiara! Not one to mince words, he told it like it was. I am very lucky to have him in my life and to have him as my friend. His life touched me deeply, and I am thankful for the memories that will live in my heart and mind forever. Gid WAS the real 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert'. May your journey be swift and beautiful, as you are, my friend.

I have SO many WONDERFUL memories of Gid! New Years' Eve 2009 we celebrated both the New Year and my partner's birthday at a friends' home. As the evening wore on, and libations flowed, so did our friends' hot tub-with thousands of fragrant bubbles! Gideon led the party by covering himself (& the rest of us) with bubbles galore! Two foot long beards, foot high 'bee hives', and 'woo hoos' that touched the floor! He always wanted everyone to have fun, & if you didn't w/Gideon around, you must have been a zombie! This past July 4th, we were fortunate to spend it with he and his partner, Jere, at Gulfport Beach. The awe and amazement at which he watched the colorfully lit skies was as bright as the rockets, themselves. He wasn't the life of the parties-he WAS the parties! Gid-boy, you will be missed deeply, but forever as we watch the rockets shooting and exploding with colors as loud as the 'kabooms' themselves, it will now be your face that I see in the skies. Godspeed, my friend. I Love You. Robie Cruse-Curnow
