Obituary of Martha F. Donald

Donald, Martha F. 92, of Dunedin died suddenly on July 1, 2011 at Largo Medical Center. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women and worked as a secretary in New York, the city of her birth. With her husband Herb, a naval officer and aviator, she lived in 18 homes in 15 cities and 9 states including Hawaii and Puerto Rico during 66 years of married life. She helped to benefit each place with her love for people, altruistic endeavors, travel and adventure. In Dunedin, the city she has loved for 42 years, she was active in city, county and state activities that are too numerous to name. She was committed to each and every one. She was passionate about contributing to society and unafraid to suggest that everyone should be involved in making the world a better place. She is survived by her husband Herb Donald of Dunedin and her daughter Linda Donald of Corvallis, OR. Memorial services will be held on Sunday July 10th 4:00pm at the Faith United Church of Christ 1625 Union St. Clearwater.
