Obituary of Gordon Michael Johnson

JOHNSON, Gordon Michael, "Cougar" 73 of Largo, FL passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011, while asleep in his home. Lived in Mt. Morris, MI for many years and married to Philomena Rose Larkin who proceeded him in passing on November 13, 2001. Gordon retired from GMI after 27 years of service and moved to Florida and later rejoined his wife after several years apart. He continued working for the Pinellas County Schools and later retired after another 9 years of service. Gordon lived many memories with relatives and friends in Michigan & Florida. He will be missed by all but never forgotten. He is survived by his daughter Tina Marie Johnson and her husband Clyde Coburn, their children, Kristina, Samantha, Jodi, Stephan. He is also survived by his son Michael Anthony Johnson and his children Sophya and Drayk. Funeral services will be held at St. Justin Martyr, 10851 Ridge Road in Seminole, FL on Thursday March 24 at 10:30am and another held at St. Mary's, 11110 N. Saginaw St., Mt. Morris, MI on March 29th at 11am. Graveside burial service will be announced in the summer where he will be rejoined next to his wife at Flint Memorial Park.
