Long story but went from riches to rags. I can not tell you all I've wanted to for so long. My dear friend I don't what to do. I will forever miss you and remember all the times and years we played music together.
Never met your son or wife hope there doing ok. I now Vincent G. Sr. passed. Don't know anything his mom who's a great mom.
Anyway from someone who knew Vinny back in the day, he was one great person, friend, and my favorite/best drummer he also became a wonderful song writer especially writing about the Lord Jesus. I really can't believe he's gone.

MY buddy, fellow musician from the teenage years in Watertown, MA. He was my drummer, brother, and him his mom & dad were good friends. We went though alot in the early years playing music (Red Fescue) managed by Tim Collins (xmanager of Aerosmith Boston's best band). I have photos of the band going out to eat after gigs for chinese food. We were very good visually as well as the music we played was popular mostly top 40 stuff. We had lights, flash bombs, fog machine, mirror ball, yeah we did it right.
Well miss those days and Vinny God Bless RIP

I was a close friend and we played music together I was the bass/vocalist. We played in a Boston band Red Fescue who Tim Collins later managed the megaband Areosmith. Vinny was my brother, we played music together for years. When he moved down to Clearwater Dino (keyboard player) went down to visit and jam a little. He started writing and doing Alice Cooper persona gigs. I've got some pics of him doing Alice. I'm really sad to see he has passed. I myself almost did too its been about ten years
I've been living in healthcare home. I just now have got access to a computer only to find the first person I try to contact has gone to see God. My prayers to his wife and son. I wish it wasn't so.
Love You Bro
Frank Silva
ps: I'm gonna break out those pics of the RF days your AC days

I just found out that we have suffered a great loss, for some reason I did not see any notice that Vinnie had passed away. I got to know Vinnie many years ago, I am a drummer so we had alot in common, I turned Vinnie on to collecting his Boston Red Sox baseball cards as I have loved the hobby for years. I am sure Vinnie is seeing many Red Sox games now and has the best seat in the house. Vinnie and I became very close and I was in Vinnie's wedding party and he was in mine. Vinnie's passion for God was 2nd to none and he was a giver. He will be missed very much, God bless the whole Greco family. Larry and Jan Sarver .

It is so rare to meet someone who always has a smile on their face - Vinny was that person. His "can do" attitude was second to none. He made our theater productions so special, and he loved every minute of it as much as we loved having him. On a personal note, he helped to make my daughter's Bat Mitzvah so special and went WAY out of his way for us. So saddened to hear this news and may you rest in peace Vinny. Love, Randi and all of the Westchase Community Theater.

It was a blessing to know Vinny and a real privilege to have had him teach drums to my daughter, Melissa. After her last (unknown) lesson with him, we were walking out of the sanctuary. Vinny sat down at the piano and started playing a song. As he played, it stopped me cold in my tracks. I HAD to hear this song. I had never heard anything so beautiful and compelling, I couldn't leave there without knowing what the name of the song was. So, after he finished playing it, I asked him what it was. He told me he wrote it.
I was blown away. I hope that somehow, someday, everyone will be able to hear and be touched by the wonderful gift God had given Vinny. I hope that I will be able to hear that absolutely wonderful melody once again. There aren't many songs that have impacted me in that way. A true testament to the many talents of Vinny Greco.

Jeff, Marie, Melissa and Thomas

Words alone are not adequate enough to express our deep sorrow and loss as we bid our Brother, Friend, Mentor and Teacher farewell until we meet again in heaven.
Vinny was and always will be so much to so many.
He touched my son Max's heart to the extent that Max at age 15 wants to be a Youth Pastor and currently gives the Children's Message at Shephard's Heart Ministries Services at Friday Night Tikva Services. Vinny taught Max several drum lessons and was always so patient and professional and kind to Max as he was to all of us who knew him!
Vinny's dedication to the Lord was unquestionable and at Dr. Soliman's Bible Study Vinny contributed so much of his wisdom and knowledge of the Lord to those of us who attended on Saturday nights. He also played his guitar for us as we worshiped the Lord as Brothers and Sisters together as one.
As I wrote to Pastor Denise and Pastor Eric at SHM on Denise's Facebook page, "Vinny is now beyond the sunset. Beyond the pain and this life's difficulties that challenged him to the extent that the Lord, in his Goodness and Kindness and Wisdom and Mercy...Brought Vinny Home to sit by the righthand side of the Lord."
Yes, we will all miss Vinny and continue to bless his wonderful mother and son and look after them, But until we are called home to be with our Lord, all of us who had the blessing to know and to love Vinny will carry a tear in our heart for our great Brother in Christ!
All our Love Vinny,
Neil and Max Kitchener

I met Vinny around 1980 during the beginning of the New Life Band and he brought me in to do lights for the shows. He was a big part of me becoming a christian. I have always remembered our adventures and how cool his parents were about what he got into. He had the most energy I have ever seen and could sell ice to an Eskimo .
I know this sounds like a cliche' after someone passes, but it is a fact while I was around him he NEVER said anything negative about anyone!
To the family: I am very sorry for your loss.

I met Vinny around 1979 after his days with Young American Showcase but before mine. We started a band together called the "New Life Band" and I learned a lot from him about music, ministry and life. He even became a youth leader at my dad's church. I eventually moved away and we lost touch but the impact he had on my life was important. I always knew that he loved Jesus and had a heart for sharing the gospel. Vinny - I'll see you one day when we are reunited in our Father's house!
My prayers and thoughts are with your family. - Drew

I Met Vinny when I was 10 years old, I lived down the street from him and he was dating my sister and he was always great to me. He allowed me to help him deliver news papers every morning when I'm sure I just slowed him down. He also was a great drummer and encouraged me to play and gave me some drums to get started.
Although we lost touch when he moved to florida I always remembered him for the kindness and support he gave to a young boy who really looked up to him.
Rest in peace Vincent. Only the good die young... Jude Higgins

Vin and I were close friends. We went to St. Paul together, hung out and worked on business some ventures.together. We had lost touch after we moved from FL in 2006, but we had reconnected a few weeks ago and talked for quite some time. Anyone that knew him knew that he had a heart for Christ and an extremely deep knowledge of the bible.
Some of my fondest memories are from our times going up to the Leesburg Men's retreats together (at the Warren W. Willis camp). On one trip, he and I had hiked over to the old assembly hall on the property, a building that had not been inhabited in quite some time. It was very interesting poking around in that building, envisioning all of the camp meetings and events that had been held there over the previous 60 years. We noticed an old altar up on the stage and went up there to kneel and pray, to thank God for all the lives that were touched and changed in that building. While we were praying together, a door in the back of the building slammed shut, and a large electric floor-standing fan started up. We were startled for a moment by the noise, but then looked at each other and rebuked that as an attempt of Satan trying to (unsuccessfully) intimidate us. Now we could not say for sure exactly what caused these things to happen, but it was a couple of very strange events in a very isolated place. We both reconfirmed that we were protected by the armor of God, and that we were not going to be frightened or shaken by anything that Satan might throw at us. For those that aren't familiar with this camp, it is a very special place (certainly to the men of St. Paul), and was an even more special place for Vin and i where we shared a lot of tears, music, kinship, and fellowship.
I have shared with my men's bible group here in MO that I have absolutely no questions about where Vinnie is now, and that he is probably talking Jesus' ear off. I feel fortunate and to have had Vin as my friend here on earth. He has had a great impact on my life and I look forward to the time when we'll be reunited together with our King. May God surround Joey and the family with peace and comfort during this time.
God bless you my brother!

Though you have gone to your eternal reward, you still live on. Not only in the hearts of your many friends and business associates, but in the audio books that you enabled us to create. Any time anyone listens to one of those books it will be adding to the fruits of your earthly ministry.
We are looking forward to meeting with you in the eternal kingdom.

Lynn and I are in shock, with heavy hearts and so much sadness of the loss of our brother in Christ, Vinny Greco. We are unable to express how much our hearts are hurting. Vinny you will always be our "forever friend." Vinny had the same vision as we do to open a teen center. The first Monarch's Wings Of Hope teen center will be named ....."My Friend's House"... which was Vinnie's dream. It will offer free music lessons to the less fortunate and offer a safe haven for kids of all ages. We will dedicate it to Vinny and his vision "will become a reality." Lynn and I had so many plans with Vinny to produce music videos together. We wanted to film young people and have them share their testimonies to other teens. Vinny was so talented in so many ways. He had such a kind, gentle manner and a very pure walk with the Lord. He was an example of one who lived his life as a true servant to the King. We will miss you so very much.... :* (
