Dave and I both knew and loved Mike. He always had a way to make you smile regardless of the situation. I was the other victim of the famous crank calls usually ending with a threat to call the governor if I didn't "fix" his errant child. Mike and I often enjoyed a rousing game of name that tune with songs no one could possibly know! We often swappped stories as we tried to outdo who had the most annoying dog. Hidden within that tough exterior was a loving man who adored his family and even liked his co-workers. He will be so misssed. Our heartfelt sympaty to Eve and the girls..
Mary Remington.

Mike, my work husband. He was the funniest, most generous and even tempered man I have ever known. In 20 years, I don't think ever saw him lose his temper or raise his voice. I know that his quick passing was the way he would have wanted to go, but darnnit, Mike, you left us all too soon.......I will think about you every day and smile to have been blessed to have known you....Love ya man....Liz

Mike touched many lives throughout his service with the Department, he will be missed. With deepest sympathy to Eve, know that whenever Mike was asked about his family, his eyes smiled as he reached for pictures of the girls. Mike was well respected and loved by his peers. May the peace of the Lord be with you, always.

I've known Mike for a number of years. He loved his girls and Eve. Mike was the most gentle, kindest, and loving individual you could know. He would come by my office and I would give him a can of tomatoe juice, he loved black licorice, which we would get from Mr. Roberts. The youth believed in him, Mr. Worley was the miracle worker for placement, so they thought. I still can't believe he's gone. We at the Pasco Regional Juvenile Detention Center will miss him and our deepest sympathy go out to Eve and the girls.

Mike was truly one of the funniest people I have ever worked with. He was a great person and it was an honor to work with him and to know him over the last nine years. He will be greatly missed.
