Obituary of Mildred K. Kuhn

Kuhn, Mildred K 98, of Gulfport, passed away on April 15, 2013, at Woodside Hospice House. In the 1940's Mildred wrote a song to welcome a beloved family member home from the war, which was later performed in Detroit at a ceremony welcoming home the troops. After the performance, she was introduced to the audience as the composer. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ervin and she will be missed by her daughters Nancy Wuerth and Sharon Kuhn, both of Gulfport; and a granddaughter, Lynn DesCamp of northern Michigan. Donations in Mildred's name may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
