Obituary of Marcella Mae Carney

Carney, Marcella Mae 69, of St. Petersburg, passed away on April 14, 2013 in her sleep. Marcella was born in Lansing, MI. She graduated from the Fletcher Academy in N.C. Marcella was a selfless friend who would do anything for anyone. She always put her needs second, making sure her friends and family were taken care of. She worked her whole life to provide for her family without complaint. Marcella loved her children and her grandchildren who made her extremely proud, Sabrina the tom-cat, and the beach. She retired after 25 years, managing convenience stores for the Hess Corporation. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Collins Sr. and her son Keith A. Carney Jr. She is survived by her mother Myrtle Riggs; her daughter Marcia Mae Brotherton and her husband David and their children Chris and Jonathan; her son David and his son David; her siblings Mary Gullett, Roy Collins Jr. and his wife Susan, Walter Collins, Harriett Finney and her husband Charlie, and Larry Collins; and her children's father, Keith Carney Sr.; and many nieces and nephews.
