Obituary of Joseph Philip Flad

Flad , Joseph Philip III 53, of St. Pete Beach, died Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was born and raised in St. Petersburg, graduating from Dixie Hollins HS. He was always there to lend an ear, offer advice, or shoot the breeze with anyone who needed him. Joe enjoyed his walks on the beach, and was never seen without a smile on his face or his tobacco pipe. He truly lived the barefoot island lifestyle. He is survived by his son Joseph Flad IV, and his father Joseph Flad Jr.; his brother Tom Flad and a sister Laura Richards; two nephews and a niece. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Friday, April 5 at A Life Tribute, Gulfport. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
