Obituary of Andrew Robert Inebnit

Andrew Robert Inebnit, born on Aug. 23, 1952, passed away in his sleep on Feb. 14, 2024, in his apartment on Starlight Cove in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert Inebnit and Sara (nee Merrill) Inebnit. He was the youngest of their four children. He is survived by his two older brothers, Peter and Jamie. His sister, Susan (Susie) Feltner, passed away in 2017. Andy is also survived by his nephew, Randy Feltner, and his niece, Robyn Shorter, and two former wives. He had no children.

In 1953, the Inebnit family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. Andy spent his childhood enjoying the sunshine. Later in life, he traveled to the beaches of Jamaica numerous times. Jamaica was one of his favorite destinations.

Andy graduated from Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. He had a talent for numbers and worked as an accountant and comptroller for most of his life. Around 2005, he relocated to Zagreb, Croatia and worked as a CFO for the Adriatic Region of Deloitte & Touche. He then returned to the warm Florida weather.

Andy was known for his wit and sharp sense of humor. He loved comedy. He wanted to make people laugh and would share a joke with everyone he met. Especially while watching the Daytona 500.

After retirement, Andy pursued his passion for books and often read a book a week. He would sit outside or in his recliner and delve into a novel. Andy also enjoyed sipping a good whiskey and conversing with his longtime friend, Kristina Montione.

Per Andy’s wishes, he will be cremated in a simple ceremony with no viewing.
