Obituary of Rosalie Simons

Simons, Rosalie "Rose", 81 of Largo, FL passed away January 21, 2024 at East Bay Rehab Center, long term care unit.

Born February 23, 1942 and raised in Putnam, CT. She was a graduate of Putnam High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph V Daigle and Gertrude I Hoffman; love of her life, her husband Malcolm E Simons; brother Fredrick Daigle and grandson Clifford F Riendeau the III.

Rose is survived by her daughter Evelyn Lisee (Kerry); sons Clifford F Riendeau Jr (Deb), Raymond Labbe; brother Roger Daigle (Johanna); Two nieces, Deb and Karen; Two nephews, Roger Jr and Joe; Five grandchildren Alain (Marie) Lisee, Jonathan (Erica) Lisee, Lyn and Tena Riendeau, and Alexis Labbe; and great grandchildren Vivian, Ethan Lisee, and Altair Ferraj.

Rose was a loving and caring person who enjoyed playing bingo and darts, going to the many clubs she was a member of; American Legion, VFW and Elks. She loved both cats and dogs. She bred her miniature poodles. She worked many different jobs in her lifetime having enjoyed her work as grounds keeper at Frito Lay and rural route carrier for the USPS.

Rose's celebration of life will be Friday February 23, 2024 at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg FL at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rose's honor to the Alzheimer's Association of FL
