Obituary of Joan Juner

Juner, Joan “Joni”, 65 of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away on January 6, 2024, at her home.

Born and raised in Havertown, PA, she graduated from Haverford Senior High School in 1976. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregg Juner, of Conshohocken, PA, and by her parents, Robert and Ellen Gear.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Sarah Gear (Iain); her sister Barbara Phillips (Bob), grandchildren Morgan, and Lila Weeks and nieces Ellen Phillips and Dana Phillips Busatto (Nicola).

Before a crippling illness, Joan worked for the US Post Office, Southeastern Branch in Wayne, PA. for several years. She was also an accomplished pool player and a certified diver.

Joan was known for her great sense of humor, her love for the Dallas Cowboys, and her love of animals. She adored her two cats, Tiger and Marco.

A memorial service will be held on February 10^th at the Rhondda Homeowners Clubhouse, 525 Carmarthen Drive, Exton, PA 19341, at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a cat rescue of your choice.
