Obituary of Denis A Perry

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Denis Alexander Perry, 65. Denis passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Largo, Florida.

Denis was born on May 8, 1958 in his hometown of Yonkers, NY. Denis moved from Yonkers to Long Beach, NY at a young age and spent the majority of his life there until he moved to Florida in 2015.

Denis is survived by his daughter, Kristina Castellon (formerly Perry), grandson Jaxxon Castellon, son in law Rick Castellon, and long time cherished best friend, Kathy Gremse.

Denis was an amazing musician who dedicated his life to making people smile through music. He will be remembered as one of the most talented bass players around, a kind and loving man who would do anything to make someone laugh and a Grandfather that was incredibly proud of his grandson who was his best buddy. Jaxxon and Denis had a truly special relationship and formed a very unique bond that will never be forgotten. Denis was also an animal lover who had a special way with any animal he was around, he was often referred to as Dr. Dolittle. Denis’s beautiful smile and unique personality will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on through his daughter and grandson.
