Obituary of Patricia Mae LeVarge

LeVarge, Patricia "Pat" , 87, of Tampa, Florida passed away on October 19, 2023 peacefully at home in her sleep. Born and raised in Tampa, she graduated from Plant High School and the University of Tampa where she was a member and President of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and a Spartan cheerleader. She then taught school in the Hillsborough County School system. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Albert Clark, and her sister, June Clark. Pat is survived by her husband of 64 years F.R. "Rick" LeVarge; her siblings, Nancy Hallfin and Robert Clark; her children Lynn Stanford, Laine Walker and Lincoln LeVarge; her grandchildren Clay Walker, Blake Stanford, Jack Walker, Chris Walker and Mallie Stanford; and her great grandchild, Reagan Stanford. Pat was a caring, loving and selfless person that cherished her time in retirement at Hound Ears near Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Pat was an active in her churches, St. Johns and St. Mary's in Tampa and St. John's in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. She was an avid member of the Chisler's Club, Tampa Women's Club, Palma Ceia Women's Golf Association, Hound Ears Women's Golf Association and the PEO Sisterhood. She was a prodigious reader and enjoyed her Book Club and canasta. Pat volunteered with both Meals on Wheels and the Faith Cafe in Tampa. 

Pat's life will be celebrated and remembered at a private family service. Her ashes will be interred at the National Cemetary in Bushnell, Florida as well as St John's Church in Tampa, Florida and Hound Ears in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
