Obituary of Sue Kindavong

Sue Kindavong passed away in the early hours of July 30, 2023 at the age of 76. She wanted nothing in life but to see her children happy and healthy. Sue had an impact on many lives in St. Petersburg, FL as a bi-lingual assistant teacher at Melrose Elementary School and Sexton Elementary school. Even in retirement, her students of many years past recognized her and still held her in high regard for her guidance and teachings.

She always greeted everyone with her cheerful smile regardless of whether they were friends, family, or strangers. She and her husband, Paul, worked tirelessly and sacrificed much to afford their six children opportunities of a better life in a new country and proudly spoke of their academic, military, and professional successes.

Although her health was failing for years, she insisted that she be a burden to no one. Her joy for providing for her family and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain.

Sue is survived by her three sons, three daughters, and eight grandchildren.
