Obituary of Denise Peterson

Denise “Denny” Peterson (Poli), 67, of Seminole, FL passed away suddenly June 7, 2023, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.

She was born on June 3, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA where she was also raised and graduated from Penn Hills Senior Highschool.

Denise preceded in death by her spouse, Michael W. Jugila as well as her father Albert A. Poli, Jr. And nephew John R. Spoon Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Joann T. Poli (Porreca), little sister Jacquelyn “Jackie” Spoon (John R. Spoon Sr.), her 2 nieces Nicole and Stephanie Spoon and nephew Christopher Spoon. Denise was also a Great-Aunt as well to her many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Denise was always there for others, sometimes more than she was even for herself and made many close friends through her journey of life. She loved the beach from sunrise to sunset, reading her mystery books, helping others, playing shuffleboard, listening to music, playing darts and riding motorcycles. She loved animals and children as they were equally delighted by her and enjoyed being around her.

Please always remember Denise by her silly sense of humor, the good times, and the laughs you may have shared with her, even the ones that turned into tears. She will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
