I miss the days when we were neighbors and our kids played in the streets together and swam in our pool. It was a great neighborhood and you were a great, fun, and helpful neighbor. I will miss you, my brother-in-law so very much. We didn't have enough time to celebrate retirement together. I'm sure you will plant a fabulous garden in Heaven. My heart goes out to Sandy, Freddie, Shelia, Angie, and Pam, who all loved you dearly. Always, Lorraine.

Fun memories of tractor rides with the kids. I know he and Dan Jr will be enjoying conversations up there catching up on old stories from the 70 and 80’s. Fred meant so much to our dad. They enjoyed many good times together at Sebring and with dad just hanging around the shop pestering Fred while he worked. Fred was so kind in so many ways especially looking after mom and her appliances and regular house repairs that he could help her with after dad passed and us kids had moved away. Fred was always fun to talk with and enjoyed hearing everyone’s stories. He was a help to me in many ways and always anxious to see what I was going to drive up in next that he could examine and help me fix, loaning tools, cutting lumber, fixing decks, he was a master. Our family will miss Fred and send love and prayers to Sandy, their kids, and the rest of his family. Rest in peace my friend.

So many great times and laughs with our dear friend Fred. I’d have to say one of our best memories was attending Super Bowl LV with him and Freddy. We had so much fun cheering on our Tampa Bay Bucs and getting the win. I’ll never forget how happy he was that day. He smiled from the time he got there and was still smiling the next morning at work. He loved his Tampa Bay teams. During the season, he and the guys at the office would recap the games the next morning. Between all of them, they had all the coaching answers to take every one of our teams to the championship. Fred made work fun and was the best friend to all of us. We will miss him dearly but cherish the many great memories we made throughout the years. His loyalty and friendship will never be matched. Rest in Peace our dear friend.

I have not known a time where Fred was not at American Appliance. I remember spending days climbing on washers and dryers as a kid, selling lemonade during the summer (he always bought a cup on breaks and always left me a tip). When I worked for American Appliance during the summer before my sophomore year of college - every morning and every afternoon, I enjoyed my chats with Fred (and hearing his hilarious stories from the road). And he would end every conversation the same: “Be good, kiddo.” He would show me his Native American artifacts he would find (so many arrowheads!). When my visits to American Appliance became fewer and far-er between, I looked forward to hearing updates from my parents on his crops, beekeeping, and all his other adventures. Recently, I got to see Fred for the first time in several years while at my Grandmother’s funeral and I was so happy to see him, despite the circumstances.
Thank you, Fred, for your partnership, support, and friendship to my family. You will be so missed by us all.
Be good up there- Amanda “Kiddo”
