Obituary of Gary Edward Gillis

Gary Edward Gillis, age 76, of Indian Rocks Beach, passed away on December 1, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer Pratt Gillis and Dorothy M (Risteen) Gillis, both of Massachusetts, and brother George Gillis of Masschusetts.

Gary is survived by his son Christopher Gillis of Clearwater, daughters Michele Gillis of New Hampshire, Kelly Soy of Massachusetts, Stacey Gillis of Massachusetts; grandchildren Brittany, Kelly Ann, Giana; three great-grandchildren; brother Dennis (Beeb) Gillis of Naples, sisters Dottie (Dryden) Gordon of Massachusetts, Diana Russo of New Hampshire, and Debra (Richard) Milley of New Hampshire; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Gary was loved by everyone and never met a stranger. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his friends in Indian Rocks Beach. He loved taking a lawn chair to the beach and enjoying the scenery. He also enjoyed going the casino with his family. 

A private Celebration of Gary's Life will be held by the family at a later date.
