Obituary of Jeanne Howard Meimann

Jeanne Meimann went peacefully to be with The Lord on October 30, 2022 at the age of 90. 

Beloved wife to the late James “Max” Meimann; Loving mother of Patti Galvin and Pasha Meimann; Proud grandmother of Jeanne Hawkins, Julia Klein and Brandon Robertson. 

Jeanne met James “Max” at Holmes High School in Covington, Kentucky and were each other’s first date.  After high school she moved to Amityville, New York.  She returned to Covington and reconnected with Max.  They were married on February 29, 1964. 

They moved to Temple Terrace Florida in 1970 becoming members of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  They served the church by volunteering for offertory duties and the Young at Heart group where they could be seen Jitter Bugging the night away.  Jeanne also volunteered in the lunchroom at Corpus Christi Catholic School. 

Jeanne worked at Maas Brothers, Burdines & Macy’s as a customer service representative. She loved shopping and getting the best deals of the day!     

She left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be missed immensely.  Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and all that she taught us through our actions and find comfort that she is in heaven with Max watching over us.  

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic, 9715 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL  33617 on Friday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m.
