Obituary of Vielka Del Carmen Sheppard

On August 23rd, 2022, Vielka Del Carmen Sheppard passed away.  Born in Panama City, Panama to Rose and Lucho Fong, She immigrated to St Petersburg, Florida, in February 1988. Vielka was a loving wife and a caring mother. She lived her life believing everyone was worth respect and decency. She was a passionate and driven woman, always giving 110% to everything she set her mind to. She became a Vice President of Citigroup after 21 years of working at the company.  She devoted herself to the art of ballet, always working to improve her craft and support her fellow artists.

She is predeceased by her mother Rose Fong. She is survived by her husband Larry, son Michael, father Lucho, sisters Diana and Maritza, and nephew Luis. Instead of flowers, she would ask that you support the arts in your local community.
