Obituary of Rosemarie Wenzel

Our beloved Rosemarie Wenzel "Rosi" left this earthly realm on December 1, 2021. A loving mother to Carmen Ferguson and Volker Wenzel, caring grandmother of Jessica Ferguson and Dominique MacDonald and great grandmother of Tommy Ferguson and Emma-grace MacDonald. Rosi is survived by her son Volker Wenzel, her daughter Carmen Ferguson, sibling Willi Nuhn, grandchildren Jessica Ferguson and Dominique MacDonald, great grandchildren Tommy Ferguson and Emma-Grace MacDonald. She was fortunate enough to be around to watch her great grandson Tommy grow-up for the first 12 years of his life. She enjoyed baby sitting him and of course spoiling him the way she did her two granddaughters Dominique and Jessica. Rosi was a very hardworking, independent woman she always had her faithful companion Lucy always by her side. She had a very big heart and love for dogs, shown by the impeccable care she has provided for many rescue dogs through her life. She did not have a great need to travel, as Rosi had an amazing green thumb. She created her own sanctuary around her home, if you were ot come and visit her you would think you have entered a heavenly garden in the middle of the city. She took such pride in her gardening that it could not be missed by the immaculate care she took of it. You would find her early in the mornings and late at night gardening with her best friend Lucy right next to her. She was known for her attention to detail and her beautiful bright smile. One can also not forget to mention her sense of fashion. Always perfectly groomed and her platinum blonde hair in a pony tail with two matching hair ties. Rosi also had a very generous heart and would give many donations to local shelters. She is very dearly missed by her family and will stay forever in our hearts. We love you.
