Obituary of Derek Percival Fountain

Fountain, Derek, 73. Our beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away on Sunday, October 25^th, 2020 at his home in Clearwater, FL. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, he was known for his kind, loving spirit and  deep fondness of the ocean. He dedicated a lifetime of service to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he held multiples roles at the College of Engineering.

He is survived by his wife - Shirley Nosakhere-Fountain; Brothers - Kemuel Fountain, Michael (Tony) Fountain, Gregory Fountain, Dennis Fountain, Neil Fountain; Sisters - Deidre Turnquest, Kim Bastian, Carolyn Fountain-Johnson;  Nieces – Cindy Fountain-Allen, Sherrel Fountain-Sampson, Mia Fountain-Rolle, Vanessa Knowles, Christina Fountain- Parker, Kalailah Fountain-Lewis ; Nephews – Gregory Fountain II, Marcus  Fountain, Brandon Fountain, Michael (Mikey) Fountain, Ryan Knowles, Job Fountain, Kemuel Fountain  Jr., Michael C. Fountain; Cousin – Michelle Byles-White and many other loving relatives and close  friends.
