Obituary of Jack Summers

Jack Summers, 82, of Largo, Florida passed away October 25, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 14, 1938, in Owensboro, Kentucky to Virgil and Kathryn (Smith) Summers. He graduated from Murray State University. He loved teaching and singing. Jack was known for his sense of humor.

                                        Jack is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Wendy Reese Summers; children, Jason and Corinna Summers, Benjamin Summers; granddaughter, Shayne; siblings, Patricia Wicker, Peggy Gilland and Bill Summers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin Gene; and sister, Sarah.

             Graveside Services with Military Honors will take place at 1 p.m., Friday November 13, 2020 at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice, Clearwater FL. in Jack’s memory.
