Obituary of Evelyn Lois Stewart

Evelyn Lois Stewart was reunited with her parents Mildred and Harry Nortemann on January 19, 2020.  Born in WVA she grew up on her parent’s farm with her sisters Martha and Helen.  She was a bookkeeper before becoming a full-time wife to William P Stewart and a loving mother to her sons, David and Stephen.  Later in life she returned to work as a bookkeep with Strawn, Marshall CPA.

Moving to St Pete Beach in the early 60’s she continued to care for her family as well and joining the bridge club and bowling leagues.

She was blessed with four grandchildren, Meghan, Trevor, Ashley and Kassidy and four great grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Linda Claire and Liam.

Evelyn was very talented at sewing and crafts, making personalized yearly Christmas decorations for the family as well as other homemade gifts.  Every Christmas she would make her famous sugar cookies with her grandchildren and always was sure to have treats when they came to visit.

Evelyn was a loving mother, an inspiration to her family and took great joy in her role as Grammy.
