Obituary of Marc E Longley

My Dear Brother, Marc Ernest Longley, sadly passed away on May 1st, 2024, in Palm Harbor, Florida at the age of 67, after caring for our mother for a good part of his life.

He was born on September 22, 1956, to Ernest Flynn Longley and Marion Susan Longley.

Marc was a gentle soul who cared about everyone. He was a good son and brother and everyone loved him. He was always there when we needed him.

Marc was predeceased by his father, Ernest, his mother, Marion, and his stepfather, Richard Reid, Sr. He leaves a sister, Diane Longley Tucci, and her husband, Richard, of Beacon Falls, CT, a niece, Theresa Tucci of Beacon Falls, CT, a nephew, Michael Tucci, and his wife, Christine, of Naugatuck, CT, a great-niece, Stephanie Tucci, of Naugatuck, CT, a greatniece, Amber Markovic of Beacon Falls, CT, a great nephew, Matthew Tucci, of Naugatuck, CT, a great, great nephew, Evan Neep, of Beacon Falls, CT and his beloved cat, Dolly, who will be cared for by his sister, Diane. He also leaves many, many cousins.

Marc grew up in North Haven, CT, and relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida in his early teens. He graduated high school and went on to join the Navy, where he served on the USS Narwhal submarine SSN-671, as a sonar technician until he was Honorably discharged. Marc was an electronic engineer and he could fix or build you something out of nothing. Marc left this world way too young and he will be missed more than he knows.

As per his wishes, there will be no services or memorials.
