Obituary of Robert Edwin Whitmore

Whitmore, Robert E, 82 of St. Petersburg, passed away on May 6th, 2018.

He was born on June 22, 1935 in Camden, NJ, to the late Edwin and Florence Whitmore.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, and pop. 

He was an avid gun collector, loved Daytona, fishing, and sports.  He was one of the funniest men you would ever meet.  His “popism’s” will be remembered and carried on by all those who met him.

He is preceded in death by his wife Edith and his sister Joan.

His is survived by his brother Ralph and Valerie Whitmore, his daughters Linda Whitmore, Kathleen and Marty Korb, Cynthia Maxwell; grandchildren Candice and Dave Smith, Nicholas and Caitlin Testa, Amber Machado, Robert Testa, Marty Korb II, Tyler Korb, Chase Maxwell; great grandchildren Nicholas Gorospe, Isabella Korb, Anthony Testa III, Tristan Smith, Adam Korb, Mason Smith and Kitty.

He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

One last time we would like to say “Nite Bob” and may you rest in peace.
