Obituary of Victor Joseph Pafundi

Pafundi, Victor "Vittorio", a loving son, brother, and uncle, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2018 in Palm Harbor. Vittorio was the son of the late Vannina Pafundi and is survived by his father, Victor, his siblings, Robert, Joanne (Jerry), and Laura (Dan); his nieces Kerrin (Robert), Alexandra (Joshua), and his nephew, Nicholas. Vittorio was born October 13, 1949 in Montclair, NJ and grew up in Bethpage, NY. After high school, he proudly served in the US Marine Corp. After completing his service, he worked as an operations specialist for Pan Am for many years. Vittorio loved traveling, his Italian heritage, studying ancient Egypt, and volunteering at the VA. He spent many hours researching Italian and Egyptian culture, collecting Egyptian artifacts, and talking to "Auntie" (Ida Pafundi). Committal service to be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tues, April 24 at 2pm.
