Obituary of Helen Louise Coffin

COFFIN, Helen 84, passed away November 15, 2010, at her home in Dunedin. She was born April 9, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan, to Harold Marx Sr. and Julia (Maloney) Marx, and was one of seven children. She worked 25 years for Western Union. A very hospitable woman, Helen served many elderly over the years at Royal Stewart Arms Condominiums and always had another place at the table for widows during the holidays. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all of us here in Dunedin. She is survived by her husband, Stanley H. Coffin; son Stephen (Sandy) Kaszyca of Attica, MI; granddaughter Angela (Mike) Proper of Flint, MI; grandson Steven (Shelly); great-grandchildren Shane, Jamie, Gauge and Jaxson Kaszyca of Attica, MI; granddaughter Dawn (Brian) Doucette of Macomb, MI; great-granddaughter Emma Doucette; granddaughter Leisa Krueger Shelton; sisters Elizabeth Mitchell and Patricia Vick; and brothers Harold Marx, Jr., James Marx, Earl Marx and Dale Pilon. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Catherine Hunt and sister Vera Raj. There will be a visitation on November 18th from 1:00-2:00 with a 2:00 service at A Life Tribute 716 Seminole Boulevard Largo 559-7793. The family thanks Morton Plant Home Health Care and The Hospice for their excellent nursing care.
