Obituary of Polly Ann Morgan

Polly Ann (Gigi/Gram) Morgan, 97 years young, died in Clearwater, Florida, on April 17, 2023. She is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Louise and George Koepfer, and her beloved husband, David G. Morgan, Jr. Survived and dearly missed by her son, Dr. David Morgan, III (Marcia Gordon), daughter, Anne Morgan, and her favorite nephew, Chris Koepfer; her grandchildren, Joshua Morgan (Gretta), Melanie Morgan Ward (Chris), and Erik Morgan; her great-grandchildren, Krystina Morgan Minnear (Tylor), Jaxon Morgan, and Dylan Morgan; and her great-great-grandchildren, Nathon, Carter, and Olivia Minnear, as well as many grandnieces, nephews, and numerous friends. As the Matriarch of the Morgan clan, she was ever the optimist and her advice included one of her favorite phrases, “Don’t worry, this too shall pass”. She was tough to beat in a Jeopardy game or trivia and never backed down from a crossword puzzle. She found her fountain of youth in the hugs she loved to receive from her grand, great, and great great-grandchildren, and she made sure everyone around her felt loved and happy. She continually amazed those she met with her intellect, genuine interest, and kindness for others. We will all miss her strong spirit and will envy and forever appreciate her well lived and extraordinary life.
