Obituary of Kevin Curtis Mead

Kevin Curtis Mead, 45, of Seminole, FL passed away in a motorcycle accident on November 24, 2022. He was born in California on December 5, 1976, raised in California and Oregon. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Charles and Lois Mead, his maternal grandparents Phillip and Emily Tuttle and an adored cousin, Alana Willis. Kevin is survived by his wife Amy Mead of Seminole, FL, his daughter Gracie of California, his adult stepchildren Kelci Newsome of Largo, FL, Adam and Nicole Newsome of New Port Richey, FL, his father and stepmother Curt and Debbie Mead of Nevada, his mother Pamela Mead of Seminole, FL, his sister and brother-in-law Heather and Jeremy Gates of California, and his Aunt Sharon of Colorado as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kevin was a talented, skilled, and dedicated worker in a variety of trades. He was well liked by bosses and co-workers alike. He loved vintage trucks and cars, especially Ford Mustangs, and enjoyed working on them. He loved animals, especially dogs and adored his two, Mandy and Sadie. He was a fun, loving, big-hearted, kind soul who would do anything for anyone. And he had an amazing sense of humor and was known to light up a room with his presence.

We shared our love of music, motorcycles, car events, the beach, and any place we could meet new people. He truly made lifelong friends. When we met 7 years ago, we instantly fell in love from day one! He was my soulmate and will always be now and forever. I love you to the moon and back, Kevin! You will be truly missed. Kevin's memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 2:00pm at A Life Tribute, 716 Seminole Blvd., Largo, FL 33770. Family will receive friends until 4:00pm.
