Obituary of Mary Frances Pfeiffer

On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Mary “Mickey” Frances Pfeiffer, passed away at the age of 85. Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Charles R. and Marie (Sullivan) Pfeiffer.

Predeceased by her siblings William Pfeiffer, Charles Pfeiffer Jr., Margaret Mary (Sposato) Forbes, Patricia Ann Karcher, and her son, Peter. She is survived by her beloved son Michael and cherished grandson Danny, loving daughter-in-law Alice, good friend, Barbara, and her wonderful nieces and nephews.

Mary F. Pfeiffer (Mickey) was born on September 20, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, NY. Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts at the College of New Rochelle, and her Master of Social Work at Fordham University. Mary worked ardently for Hospice for 20 years.

Mary had a passion for helping others and devoted her life to that cause. She met all people with a kind and open heart. Whether she was volunteering with premature babies in the hospital or sharing the last moments of life with those in Hospice care, her optimistic smile brightened the day of anyone’s path she crossed.

There will be a Mass of Remembrance for Mary on September 10 at 4:30 p.m. at Most Holy Name of Jesus Church
