Susan Hicks

Obituary of Susan Hicks

Susan (Lintzenich) Hicks was born on July 6, 1956 in St Charles, Missouri. In her early teen years her family relocated to Clearwater Beach, Florida where Susan attended St. Cecilia, and then Clearwater Central Catholic High School where she made lifelong friends with many of her classmates. While at Central Catholic, Sue was a cheerleader and crowned homecoming queen. She later became a licensed real estate agent.

As a real estate agent, she treated her Owners/Tenants as if they were family. Those who worked with her often became lifelong friends. She had a professional reputation built upon honesty, integrity, and fairness.

Sue was soft in words, small in stature, yet large in warmth, patience, and love. Sue’s acts of kindness, compassion, and understanding spoke volumes to the sort of person she was. Her lovely nature only accentuated her timeless beauty.

Above all, Sue treasured her family.  She loved her siblings Kathy Murray and Stephen Lintzenich, who remained an integral part of her life. Her daughters and sons-in-law, Heather Southard (Stephen) and Lisa Lyons (Curtis), and especially her three Grandchildren were the joys of her life.  Sage, Alexander and Eva were everything to her and she relished every moment with them.  In her later years, Sue provided care for her aging Mother, who suffered from Parkinson's Disease.

Whether you were family, a friend, or someone she just met, Sue’s ability to make you feel treasured will be her long-lasting legacy.

Sue was preceded in death by her Mother (Caryl Halpin), Father (Mack Lintzenich), Brother (Richard Lintzenich) and Reginald Hicks (Father of Heather and Lisa, former Husband).
