I worked with Helen at the Burlington Free Press, where she as a respected, smart and able journalist in a crowd of exceptional journalists. Helen was a friend and I remember being at her home in Milton and meeting and hearing about Hannah and Alex, of whom she couldn’t have been more proud or more in love. Helen was kind, perceptive, worldly and modest woman and showed remarkable resilience and optimism, even when her family’s Milton home burned down. Bruce Seifer and I have both posted Helen’s obituary on our Facebook pages and Vermont friends are sharing their condolences and memories. Sympathies to all of you on the loss of a special woman.
