Obituary of Nicole Elizabeth Cottrell

Cottrell, Nicole Elizabeth, 31, of Clearwater, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her home. She was born on May 8, 1989, to Hector Fischer and Ellen Maloney.

Nicole is survived by her husband, Jason A. Cottrell; parents, Hector J Fischer (Amy) and Ellen E Maloney; brother Graham Fischer, grandparents; Jerry and Lois Fischer, and Clayton Maloney, and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her Grandmother Rita Maloney

Nicole loved to travel, learn, and volunteer.  She had a passion for nature, giving back to the community, and rescuing animals. She graduated from USF with a Bachelors Degree of Science – Biology and worked as a toxicologist in research science.

We will always remember her infectious-dimpled smile, beautiful blue eyes, quick witted humor and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Nicki, celebrate the good memories you have of her, and remember that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the fullest.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at ALife Tribute FuneralCare.
