I always knew him as Tony. He was a terrible father and awful husband to Roz and her children. He sat on my shoulders in a pool and try to drowned me when I was 12. All these people call you, Michael I guess he took on a new persona after he divorced Roz. And the singing I found it obnoxious playing it better with his departure

Michael and Nancy were the dearest of friends to my parents and for many years I would hear of trips made for singing, contests, shows or visits to just share each other’s company. Always in laughter, down to earth pleasures and storytelling banter as good friends do. They were all longtime friends – all to each other. Dad and Michael would practice songs. Mom and Nancy would share their boundless joy with art. And together, the four would jostle for conversation as they let me tag along in their good times.
Seeing all together having the fun that life should share with us all, I could see and grow to know their true friendship. Michael, I will miss your spontaneous wit and fast smile and can hear your laughter in my memories. Thank you for being the sincere, kind, funny, and dear of a man. I feel you lived your life as a loving husband, friend, and a guy lucky enough to know he found joy in the life he guided with the love of his life beside him.
Once again, I am blessed by the friendships of my parents, by their friends and our shared times. Michael, please sing with Dad, laugh with Mom, and walk with God.

Michael , it is truly difficult to believe that you are gone. I worked with Michael at The Greater Ny Fund which became The United Way of Tri- State for 5 years. He was my Boss, Mentor and Friend. He and I sang at every Party, Christmas, etc and had a great time doing it. He introduced me to The Golden Chordsmen 51 years ago. I will forever be in his debt. This changed my life and He was so much a part of the memories and experience. His Pratfalls and entertaining and leadership were all and then some, the reiki leaders personality that made him So Unique. Rest In Peace my Dear Friend Irv Flamer

I've known Michael from the day he walked into his first Westchester chapter meeting. I considered him a dear friend. Michael and I were on the WesCo Board together. He was a great WesCo president and fun to sing with. He had a great sense of humor. We laughed together about a lot of crazy things.
We Westchester Chordsmen who knew him will greatly miss him.
Rest in peace, old friend.

I can’t believe that it was back in the early 1970’s that Michael went back to the Fordham Glee Club to recruit new men to join the Westchester Barbershop chorus. Roger Payne was the Glee Club president and my soon to be husband, Joe Hunter, was the VP. I sang in the Women’s group. Soon they had a quartet from Fordham named Four Under Par. The rest is history. Thank you, Michael!!! Diane Hunter

My name is Ken Rear president of the Sarasota Chorus Of The Keys. For the time that we had Michel as a riser mate, he was a great asset to our lead section. He regaled us with stories of his previous barbershop experiences.
It was a pleasure to have him as a member for the short time he was with us. We were sorry when he had to leave our group.
Our sincere condolences.
