Obituary of Georgia A. Erickson

Georgia Ann Erickson, 86, passed away from this life on Friday March 5, 2021. She was born August 9, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Reinhard Plautz and Aliese (Schulz) Plautz.

On November 8, 1952 she married William Erickson. They had 68 wonderful years of marriage.

Georgia was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She enjoyed spending precious time with her family and friends. She loved the excitement of trips to the casino and playing scratch off tickets. She always had a twinkle in her eye.

Georgia’s oldest son Gary Erickson of Largo, FL preceded her in death June 30, 2001.

Survivors include her loving husband William Erickson of Largo, FL, daughter Cynthia (Rodney) Schroeder of Largo, FL, sons Michael Erickson, Tarpon Springs, FL, Craig (Jenny) Erickson Wausau, WI, grandchildren Shane (Kris) Schroeder of Minneapolis, MN, Shannon (Daniel) Turzinski of Marshfield, WI, Dustin Erickson of Weston, WI, Brooke (Jeremiah) Hart of St. Charles, IL, six great grandchildren, and her sister Eleanor Koehler of Merrill, WI.

Graveside Service at Bay Pines National Cemetery will be a private service for family only.
