Obituary of Lee Jacob Jordan

Jordan, Lee Jacob, 48, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2020 at his home. Born in Burke County and raised in Guilford County, North Carolina, he graduated from Southwest Guilford High School (High Point, NC) and attended East Carolina University (Greenville, NC). He was the President and Owner of Jordan Cable Construction Company (Greenville, NC). He worked several years as a part of the telecommunication recovery efforts in Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina, as well as numerous other hurricanes along the East Coast throughout the years. He sold his business and was employed by Lambert’s Cable Splicing, LLC as the Director of Florida Operations in Clearwater, Fl. Lee was preceded in death by grandparents Aubyn and Jo Townsend of Connelly Springs, NC, and Roy and Celia Jordan of Morganton, NC; and step-sister Stephanie Jordan Neece.  He is survived by his wife Cassie Jordan and daughter Rilee Jordan of the home; parents Patricia and David Brookbank of Reidsville, NC and Roy and Debbie Jordan of Climax, NC; brothers Jason Jordan and wife Sheila of McLeansville, NC, Jarrett Jordan and wife Lisa of Summerfield, NC, and David Brookbank, Jr. and wife Amanda of High Point, NC; nieces and nephews Dylan, Emily, Jackson and William Jordan, Landon Hedgecock, Maddie and Leeza Brookbank, and Kaley and Jacob Neece.

Lee was a loving husband and devoted father. He lived for his family. He enjoyed all sports and was an amazing athlete; he excelled in baseball and football, and later found a passion for men’s travel softball and golf. He had a brilliant, analytical mind and loved his profession where he was able to utilize his strengths every day. He was confident, passionate, and dedicated to his career, and was well-respected by his colleagues.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Urgent Church, 5935 Burlington Rd, McLeansville, NC, 27301 on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Lee had been on the Kidney Transplant list for four years; thus, in lieu of flowers, please consider becoming a living organ donor.
