Obituary of Kevin Henderson

HENDERSON, Kevin, 69, of Largo, went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2020. Born in Massillon, Ohio, Kevin graduated from Washington High School. He was a lover of all things sports. Kevin then joined the Army and serviced with distinction during the Vietnam Era, serving in Germany as Military Police “MP” and in Kentucky as Signal Corp. He later went on to work for and retire after 30 years, as a Supervisor with Heartland Behavioral Health. Kevin was an active member and trustee of the Seminole United Methodist Church. Kevin loved his fantasy football and just about every sport there was! He enjoyed football, basketball, baseball, and he and Kasey shared that love/competition of fantasy football. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Ozzie L. Henderson, Alice J. Henderson (Nee Young). He is survived by his children, Kolette Gibbs, Tamaro Hopson, Tomara Herring, Travis Parks, Kasey Henderson, Kyle Henderson; sister, Karen Woods; grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many cousins, friends and church family. He will be missed by all.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00 P.M., Friday, January 17, 2020 at Seminole United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Seminole United Methodist Church Cemetery.
